Snow, sleet, freezing rain, whiteouts, ice.
Winter in Quebec is a lesson in surviving blizzard conditions. Watching the world pass by through ice covered windows was more relaxing than having to drive in those conditions. The back seat gave me a chance to enjoy the view of the frost covered trees.

Arriving at the farm, I did a double take. A Haflinger horse galloped into the field and it seemed as if my very first pony, ‘Trigger’, had been brought to life. I knew I had the perfect texture at home just waiting for this image and all it needed to make it work was this horse! Funny how life catches you off guard sometimes and brings back a long forgotten memory. Seeing this golden horse made the treacherous road conditions all the more worth it.
