Things are Looking Up

Tijuana, Mexico

I’m often asked how I decide which workshops to attend. Reading the description and looking at the instructor’s photos are my usual first steps. This workshop included a video of a horse and rider galloping through the surf and I thought, I am in. I flew to Santa Barbara and at dinner, I found out that I was heading to Tijuana the next morning by car. Hmm, I obviously didn’t read the rest of the information once I saw that video!

The week in Tijuana was everything I could have hoped for - horses, mares and foals, stallions on a beach, terracotta tiles, more horses - equine treasures of the region. This particular image was taken in a dusty corral. My Tijuana Adventure.

This image was submitted for accreditation in The Portrait System, created by Sue Bryce, and received a Bronze with distinction.
